Through the ministry of the Oklahoma United Methodist Foundation, we work to enhance the ministry of our local churches and United Methodist ministries.
Many of our local churches are constantly seeking raise more money and attract younger families. ARISE is a process for churches to rediscover their mission and what God has called them to do. This opportunity will get your leaders and members thinking, talking and praying about the future of the church.
There are too many churches in our Conference struggling weekly to make ends meet, reach their communities and turn the declining trends around to be a sustainable congregation for our children and grandchildren.

Through ARISE you will hear about topics that touch every generation within the church: prayer, vision, mission, leadership, age and generational differences, guests, giving, and change.
ARISE! is a process for churches to rediscover their mission and what God has called them to do. This opportunity will get your leaders and members thinking, talking and praying about the future of the church.
ARISE! consists of four areas. The first three, Prayer, Purpose, and People, are presented in a one-day seminar. Senior Pastors and key laity (influencers) are invited to attend and carry the message back to their church. A foundation staff person will be available to follow up with your church working around your schedule.
At a later date following the ARISE! event, we are available to consult with the local church on additional topics related to implementing the fourth element of ARISE!: a contextual Plan which is specific for their congregation and community.
